I am encouraged today by the increased evidence that progressives are actually working out an agenda that does not come from being afraid of the consequences of their thoughts and actions. The reason I can say this is because of the continuous discussions I am finding at both alternet.org and truthdig.com about what is going on with the environment and with the war.
Now I have to think about the Green Party. No, seriously. Will Nader run? Will the progressives (the neo-libs) of the Demo party change allegiance out of frustration over their inability to get the Demos to stand up and fight? Will this be an election a third party can actually win? Is it worthwhile to address the drug laws while the rest of this is going on?
